Loss, Grief & Transformation

"The transience of life is the engine of it's meaning"
-Andrew Solomon

Grief can result from any type of loss or life transition: death of a loved one, divorce, miscarriage, abortion, job loss, retirement, aging, all of life events. I walk beside children, teens and adults who are in the process of grief, guiding them to find meaning from their loss and wholeness to their life. I see clients dealing with grief as a normal and necessary process as well as complicated grief, anticipatory grief and trauma. Understanding the nature of grief, it is possible to get through this time of confusion, sadness, anger, loneliness and fatigue to a place of inner peace.

Through gentle loving- kindness, psycho-education, expressive arts, movement therapy, somatic therapy, relaxation and meditation I support my clients as they journey through the unfamiliar territory of grief.
